Care Comes First
Dr. Anh Jibben is a long-time resident of Arizona and grew up in Prescott, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University obtaining a dual Bachelor's degree in Biology and History. Dr. Jibben then attended the University of Arizona where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master's degree in Public Health (M.P.H.). Following her graduation, she was employed at the Phoenix Department of Public Health working with various communicable diseases including tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases. During her work experience there, she helped manage, report, and develop statistical information related to the treatment and prevention of communicable diseases for individuals at high risk. In addition, she assisted in the preparation and research for grants by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). During her time at the Phoenix Department of Public Health, she helped coordinate numerous outreach programs and worked on public health plans to improve the wellness of the community members.
Soon after, she was accepted into the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. While attending school she interned at Einstein Hospital in the Ophthalmology Department located in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Jibben gained valuable experience working alongside many other optometrists, ophthalmologists, and physicians in various clinical settings including emergency medicine, cornea and cataracts, retinal disease, primary medicine, pediatrics, glaucoma care, and emergency room.
Dr. Jibben has practiced in Arizona for over fifteen years. She offers comprehensive eye exams, diabetic evaluation, as well as glaucoma and cataract evaluations for your entire family and welcomes young children. She has extensive knowledge in fitting all types of contact lenses including rigid gas permeable, soft lenses, multifocals, toric/astigmatism lenses, and colored contacts. In addition, she offers emergency eye care treatments for ocular injuries, conjunctivitis, “red-eyes”, and foreign body removal. During her studies in Philadelphia, she received awards in Clinical Excellence in Pediatrics and Low Vision.
Dr. Jibben is a local resident of Fountain Hills for over thirteen years. She is a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In 2018, she was awarded by the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce "Health Service of the Year Award." She is a strong believer in contributing to her local community and enjoys volunteering at the school and town, donating her services to children in need of eye care and glasses, as well as the Fountain Hills Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). She is happily married. During her free time, she enjoys photography, piano, making jewelry, traveling, and spending time with her family and children.
Meet Roxanne. A true Arizona native, born in Mesa and raised in Chandler, Arizona. She has a passion for helping others which led her down the path of medicine. She graduated with a Medical Assistant degree and has obtained a degree in Health Information Specialist. Her previous career involved working with a cardiologist as a phlebotomy technician. Her experience and knowledge in the healthcare industry allow her to provide our patients with the highest quality of care. She strives to do her best on a daily basis to make sure all the patients' needs are met.
In Roxanne's free time, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband and three children. They love traveling, spending time in California, and being at the beach. Her favorite hobbies include baking delicious peach cobblers and cooking her well-requested meals – shrimp fettuccine.
